Welcome to the Ulgham Village website.

This site is run on behalf of the Village Association.

It is designed to promote the village and to provide a forum for the exchange of information.

The Citizens Advice Bureau, which is closed, has provided a list of contact numbers.

Planning application - Notification has been received from Northumberland County Council of the following planning application -

20/01095/MAST - Erection of a Mast and cabinets at The Byre, 1 Manor Farm, Ulgham, Morpeth, NE61 3BH - deadline for comments is 29th April 2020.

There are no paper copies of plans available during the lockdown period - please view plans at http://publicaccess.northumberland.gov.uk/online-applications

 

Countywide Oil Buying Scheme

Community Action Northumberland provides local communities and individuals a countywide bulk-buying scheme for heating oil, including LPG. Anyone in Ulgham who is interested can find further details at CAN Oil Purchase Scheme.

Mobile Library

The mobile library service stops at the entrance to the Forge estate between 14:00 and 14:40 every other Friday in the month. This service is now provided by Active Northumberland.

Books can be borrowed for 28 days.

There is also a Home Library Service for people who may be having difficulty leaving their home. Email mylibrary@activenorthumberland.org.uk for further information.
